Rotary Mulcher RM 232
Daily/routine inspections
Always remember to inspect all the machines, including those that carry
and drive with the rotary mulcher. It is important that the user is familiar
with the machines and performs the necessary inspections of the vehicle and the multi
carrier that is being used. Use the instruction manuals for the respective machines and be
sure of the daily routines.
A crack in a blade rotor can lead to the loss of a rotor head during
operation - with great risk of serious injury to people, animals or machine.
When starting up with a new machine, a general daily check is performed before start-up
and already again after 3-5 operating hours. Extra attention should be paid to loose bolts,
the tension of the blade bolts (135N) as well as the inspection of the belt tension (900 N).
Daily inspection of the whole machine before work start-up
After the first
3 - 5 hours.
After that - daily.
General assessment:
•
Intact guardings,
•
Cracks in frame, blade rotors or blades,
•
Loose parts or missing bolts or blades
Blade bolts are tightened (135N)
Inspect hydraulics for leaks from engine, fittings and hoses
Inspect belt tension (900 N)
Inspect the oil level on the vehicle or the multi carrier
Half-yearly inspection
After
winter/summer
season
Carefully inspect the condition of all the hoses. Pay particular
attention that they do not rub against edges, slideways, bolts,
etc., and that the hose sleeves are properly placed so that the
hoses are always protected as good as possible.
Clean the entire machine for branches and loose bits, wash and
oil it with anti-corrosion oils (especially in the areas that are
polished with use)
Carry out a meticulous daily inspection
Store the machine in a well protected, dry place.
