Rotary Mulcher RM 232
The machine fitter or the user must ensure that the flow is set to the required 50 l/min.
Greentec's Twiga models, that are equipped with an LS pump, are usually adjusted to a 50
liter flow. Here the rotary mulcher can be mounted directly.
On all other machines with a gear pump, ensure that the oil flow does not exceed 50 l/min.
This can be ensured with a flow divider. A flow divider must not be combined with an LS
pump.
Hydraulic oil
GreenTec recommends at ambient operating temperatures -10
o
C to +40
o
C, a viscosity
between 10 & 70cSt., And oil temperature of +30
o
C to 65
o
C. Basically supplied HDZ 46, at
temperatures outside the specified area, recommended the use of other types of oil.
Diagrams
The rotary mulcher is driven by hydraulic oil from the towing vehicle or multi carrier. The
driver of the vehicle should be aware of the proper way to handle the oil (read in the safety
data sheet for the oil used by the vehicle)
The tool must be supplied with an oil flow of 50 l/min.
Either the multi carrier must be designed to supply 50 l/min to the rotary mulcher,
or a flow divider must be purchased as extra equipment.
In the case of an LS controlled pump (Load Sensing), DO NOT install a flow divider, as
this will give error signals to the LS.
Hydraulic diagram for tool with and without flow divider. Cavitation control in the form of a
non-return valve and a pressure relief valve is built into the engine.
A drain must be installed on the engine with direct connection to pressureless (max. 2 bar)
tank.
