Minor adjustments of the cutting angle can be done while driving, but it is
recommended that the work be stopped before making any bigger changes to the cutting
angle.
To prevent the blades from blocking, the lower blades are installed so that
they can swing freely 360
o
. The upper blades can swing 110
o
. A non-return valve is
installed on the hydraulic system in order to "brake" the blades faster. Despite this, if the
blades are blocked, stop the rotary mulcher, stop the vehicle, remove the ignition key, pull
the handbrake, wear safety goggles and safety work gloves and then remove the
unwanted jammed material.
In winter,
when the fluids evaporate from the branches, the end result will
be more "frayed". When working outside the growing season, there will be increased wear
on the blades.
Stop the
Rotary Mulcher
•
Reduce the motor rotation to fast idling. Then stop the Rotary Mulcher.
•
Never increase or reduce the oil flow quickly. It can damage the hydraulic system in
the long term.
•
When the work is done stop the engine of the vehicle. Remove the ignition key and
pull the handbreak. Remember safety goggles and safety work gloves. Set the arm
system to transport position, apply any transport protection devices. Be careful around
the sharp cutting edges!

When transporting, show consideration for other road users.
Stopping the tool should always be done at the lowest rotation speed in
order to achieve low oil flow. In that way, the tool is running relatively slow when stopping.
High-voltage power lines
Always be aware of overhead lines. In between electricity
poles there will always be a risk of touching the overhead lines.
If in doubt, contact the local plant for instructions on safety distances.
Legislation in the respective countries
The use of the machine may be limited by the laws of the individual countries. It is
important that the responsible owner or operating manager is familiar with the country's
laws and regulations regarding cutting and maintenance of fences and hedges. Greentec
