ROCKER JOINT (TILT FUNCTION) FOR TERRAIN ADAPTATION
The RI barrier mower is designed with a swivel joint so that the cutting head can better adapt to any bumps
or obstacles along the ground during use.
The rocker joint consists of a bushing that rotates around an axle on the RI barrier mower's suspension.
The rocker joint works by adapting the cutting head to the terrain if it is met by unevenness on the ground
surface. (See image below)
When the RI barrier mower encounters unevenness, the rocker joint will ensure that the cutting head can tilt
to compensate for a possible bumps along the surface of the ground, as well as taking care to relieve the
suspension of the RI barrier mower against shocks/impacts during use.
GreenTec RI barrier mower: movement of cutting head by impact of rocker joint for terrain adaptation.
If the "tilt function" affects stability and seems too rough during use, this can
be remedied by adjusting down the spring-affected adaptation ("break-back"
system)
