installation Percolation cube:
Horizontal and free of stones
The pit floor has to be horizontal and plane. Any
foreign objects such as stones or similar items shall
be removed from the pit. If this is ensured, the
gravel layer can be applied. They should be about
8-10 cm.
The grain size of the gravel is 8/16
rounded gravel. The gravel layer is pulled smoothly
to the geotextile interpreted.
Geotextile
The geotextile serves as protection of seepage
from dirt and should be easily adapted overlapping
with larger systems. Please avoid damage to the
fabric. It should be made sufficiently, that the
percolation cubes are completely covered by
geotextile
Positioning
Place
the
percolation
cubes
to
each
other,
preferably in a row. Think about it to position the
cubes so that the feed to the rainwater pipe is
simple. Next, they hit the seepage completely one
with the geotextile. It prevents contamination and
volume minimization in the system during the
backfilling.
