thermostat

the multistage boilers of series “ELTHERM”;

System very first start
•
Check the heating system and make sure its filled with circulating water, free
of any gases;
•
Check the condition of the circulating pump – unscrew the protective cap
and check if the pump’s rotor is rotating at operation. Screw the protective
cap back as final step of the procedure;

Check the power supply of the electric hot water;
5.2.3.
Operating of the hot water boiler of series “ELTHERM”
The electric boiler of series “ELTHERM” will heat the circulating water when the
following conditions are fulfilled:
•
the power supply of the boiler is switched on;
•
the set-point temperature of the boiler’s circulating water is set to value,
higher than the ambient temperature;
•
the room thermostat is switched on (if connected);
•
any other control modules are switched on and functioning properly;
The electric hot water boilers of series “ELTHERM” are operating according to
their thermal capacity, given in Table 2.2 and 2.3, according to the nominal thermal
capacity.
The first stage of the boiler is activated automatically. The second and the
third stages (according to the model) of the boiler are controlled by manual
switches, mounted on the interface panel of the boiler. The switches allow thermal
capacity control and economic operation of the boiler.
The stages (i.e. the active electric heaters) of the boiler are switched
according to the achieved thermal comfort in the heated rooms – in case of low
temperature the next stage should be switched on, which step-wise increased the
thermal capacity of the electric boiler, until the entire operating range of the boiler
is reached. In reverse, in case of excessive temperature levels in the heated rooms
are observed, then it is recommended to switch off serially (one by one) the active
electric heaters, thus decreasing the thermal capacity of the boiler, which also
allows economic operation of the system and optimal thermal comfort.
