Fertilizer Systems
The YP4025A-48TR20 supports several supply and
distribution systems for fertilizer application of one or two
materials:
•
on-board 400 gallon tanks (2x200 gal./1500 liters
total), relying on a product-mounted hydraulic-drive
pump and Type 2 manifold,
•
500 or 735 gallon (1900 or 2800 liter) semi-mounted
trailing cart with available hydraulic fertilizer pump,
relying on a Type 2 product boom or;
•
available pintle hitch for a customer-provisioned
trailing nurse tank, using a Type 2 or Type 3 boom
and product-mounted hydraulic-drive pump or
customer-provisioned pump.
Liquid Fertilizer Systems
One available boom (manifold) system is
factory-installed if ordered with the product. A second
boom is dealer- or customer-installed. All booms have
the same number of outlets. Unused outlets are capped
on wider row spacings.
The Type 2 boom has a single inlet, and is optimized for
use with a Great Plains hydraulic drive pump. The base
Type 2 system is plumbed to the on-board tanks. The
407-243A kit extends it to the rear hitch, for use with the
400 gallon tank of the PFC2000.
The Type 3 boom is separately plumbed for each of the
three product sections, and relies on an off-product
pump and supply manifold (which would must be
provided by the trailing nurse tank cart).
Both booms include a bypass return line, which is not
used with the Great Plains hydraulic drive pump.
