CHECK RADIATOR HOSES AND
CLAMPS-Diesel
Check radiator hoses and clamps every 200 hours of
operation or every six months.
1. Check for water leaks or loose hose clamps.
2. Replace hoses if they are hard, swollen or cracked.
3. Tighten hose clamps securely.
CHECK TIRE PRESSURE
Check tire pressure every 50 hours of operation. Adjust
the tire pressure for all tires to 24 psi (166 kN/m
2
).
Keep tire valves capped.
REMOVE DEBRIS
Remove debris from unit before each use.
IMPORTANT:
Operating the engine with clogged
airflow, dirty, plugged, or damaged cooling fins, will
cause engine damage from overheating.
1. Park unit on a level surface with the lift arms
lowered, the engine off, and the key removed.
2. Check air flow and mechanical areas for blockage,
including the air intake, cooling system, spark plug,
and linkages.
3. Remove debris with a brush or vacuum.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT CLEAN WITH
HIGH-PRESSURE WASH. Damage to electrical
systems may result.
ADJUST PARKING BRAKE
To check parking brake:
1. Shut off engine.
2. Disengage parking brake.
3. Measure parking brake spring. If spring is not
1-7/8" (4.8 cm) long, adjust.
To adjust:
1. Loosen jam nut.
2. Tighten adjustment nut to decrease spring length.
Loosen adjustment nut to increase spring length.
3. Once spring is adjusted to 1-7/8" (4.8 cm), tighten
jam nut against adjustment nut.
