Level and pitch the mower with the height
adjusters on each deck lift bracket
(Figure 32).
12. Loosen the jam nut on the deck leveling
bracket bolt about 1/4 turn to reduce
clamp load on the height adjusters.
13. Loosen the jam nut on the deck lift bolt
and then turn the bolt clockwise to raise
the deck or counterclockwise to lower
the deck. Tighten both jam nuts.
Adjust Deck Height
The mower deck has two height options to
extend the height-of-cut range.
•
Low position: 38 – 102 mm (1.5 – 4")
•
High position: 64 – 127 mm (2.5 – 5")
To change deck height:
1. Follow procedure for removing deck
NOTICE:
Deck does not have to be slid out
from under unit.
2. Choose the mounting holes for the
desired cut height (Figure 33).
•
For higher height of cut mount the
deck links, idler leveling bracket and
drag links in the lower holes.
•
For lower height of cut mount the deck
links, idler leveling bracket and drag
links in the upper holes.
