Connect the clevises on the pushrods to the aileron horns. Locate the linkage hole in
the servo output arm which is 13 mm from centre, and open it up using a 2 mm Ø bit.
With the servo and the associated aileron at centre (neutral), mark the point on the
pushrod where it crosses the linkage hole in the servo output arm. Use a pair of flat-
nose pliers to bend the pushrod at right-angles at the marked point, and snip off the
excess rod length so that it projects beyond the retaining clip by about 1.5 mm when
the clip is fitted.
The length of the pushrods can be fine-tuned by screwing the clevises in or out at the
aileron horns. When the linkages are set up correctly, apply a drop of UHU
schraubensicher to the M2 nuts and clevises to prevent them working loose.
The next step is to glue the wing panels together, but first the covering film must be
cut away all round the root ribs using the tip of a sharp balsa knife, as shown in the
photo.
Use your fingertips to locate the two holes at the centre of the wing for the retaining
screws, and the hole through which the two aileron servo leads will pass, and melt
the film over them using the tip of a hot soldering iron.
Slide the aluminium joiner tube through the sleeve in the wing centre section, and set
it central, i.e. with the same length projecting on both sides.
Thread the servo leads through the wing centre section and allow them to exit the
wing through the central hole.

Apply white glue to one facing rib of the wing centre section, then slide the
appropriate outboard wing panel onto the aluminium joiner tube. Push the two wing
panels together, so that the facing ribs make contact over their full area. While the
glue is still wet, wipe off excess adhesive with a piece of kitchen paper.
Tape the wing panels together using strips of masking tape as shown, to prevent
them slipping out of alignment.
Attach the second outboard wing panel to the centre section using the same
procedure.
