Indicator LEDs
Monitor Cards
You can observe the LEDs on the monitor cards to determine whether the cards are operating
properly. This illustration shows the LEDs of monitor card:
These are the LEDS at the front of a monitor card, from top to bottom:
LED 7: Bad COM (red)
LED 5: FPGAs Loaded (yellow)
LED 4: Power (green)
LED 3: Alarm (red)
LED 2: Monitor Out
LED 11: Valid Backplane (green)
LED 6: Good COM (green)
LED 1: Monitor In

OFF normally. ON if there is a power supply failure

Power
Green
ON if all power supplies are working properly

FPGAs Loaded
Yellow
ON
if all FPGAs have successfully loaded. OFF otherwise

COM Good
Green
ON if communication with the control card is good. OFF
otherwise
7
COM Bad
Red
ON if errors are received in the control stream from the
control card. Will Blink in test mode
