IP Gateway Cards
Browser Application
Configurable Relationships
Remember that the cards are used for tielines, where passed signals originate at outputs and
terminate at inputs.
Under configuration, every video port of an IP gateway output card must be associated with a
pair:
(Output IP address, target input IP address)
And, every video port of an IP gateway input card must be associated with an IP address. This IP
address is presumed to be the target of a video output.
The relationship between video ports and SFP connectors is fixed and simple (at present).
Input Card Configuration
When you have entered the IP address of the card, the application displays its home page:
There are 8 browser pages organized into 3 groups: setup, status, and tools. (The 2 setup pages
may be considered configuration pages. The other pages are not configuration pages,
per se.
)
These are the 7 browser pages for input cards:
•
‘Ctrl IP Address’
•
‘Statistics’
•
‘Configure SFP+’
•
‘Debug’
•
‘Frame Status’
•
‘Upgrade Firmware’
•
‘Network Status’
The ‘Technical Support’ page gives you Grass Valley contact information (only). That information
is presented at the end of this manual.
