Troubleshooting
This chapter provides you with hints for dealing with most common prob-
lems on your
INDIGO AV Mixer
.

Problem
Possible causes
Possible solution
SETUP
The INDIGO does not start
and the display is black
The power cable is not plugged in
Plug in the power cable and switch on the
device
The INDIGO is off
Switch on the device
There is no CF card with the INDIGO soft-
ware in the drive
Insert a CF card with the required INDIGO
software
The Transition Lever Arm
does not work correctly
The Transition Lever Arm is not calibrated Go to Setup > Control Panel > Calib. and
calibrate the Transition Lever Arm
The audio faders do not work
correctly
The audio faders are not calibrated
Go to Setup > Control Panel > Calib. and
calibrate the audio faders
The Touch Screen does not
work correctly
The Touch Screen is not calibrated
Go to Setup > Control Panel > Calib. and
calibrate the Touch Screen
The Joystick does not work
correctly
The Joystick is not calibrated
Go to Setup > Control Panel > Calib. and
calibrate the Joystick
The fan is not working
The fan is blocked
Turn off the unit; check if objects have got
into the cooling slots (do not open the
case)
System is overheated, but the
fans are ok
Cooling slots are obstructed
Check the cooling slots of the unit; do not
place the INDIGO on carpet, papers or
clothes
Too hot environment
When working in extremely hot environ-
ments, air condition should be used.
