Foundations requirements
The universal tyre changer must be placed on a level concrete (minimal quality: C20/25) floor of at
least 15 cm thick, in accordance to DIN 1045-2 (foundation). For explanation see the table as well as
the picture below.
If there is no flooring on site, foundations must be provided at least under the machine‘s
supporting/anchor points.
The surface must be flat in all directions. Floor inclinations (max. 0.25%) can be rebalanced with
appropriate washers, wedges or similar.
When de-/mounting wheels heavier than 1000 kg, it is necessary to attach the changer to
the ground by means of anchoring bolts.
The anchoring requires heavy-duty M16 anchor bolts, and an anchoring depth of at least 130mm.
If there is an additional flooring between the concrete and the machine, or if wedges and/or washers
have been used, then make sure to use accordingly longer anchor bolts.
Insert anchor bolts into every anchoring hole. The anchor bolts must be embedded at least 125 mm in
the concrete. (see figure below).
