Beadbreaking & Demounting of 3-segments Multipiece/Split
Rim Wheel

1)

Clamp The wheel on the chuck as described above. Make

sure that the air is drained from the wheel.

Move the mobile control unit to working position C.

2)

Position the tool arm (14, fig. D) in the working position and

lock it into the clamping cone.

3)

Place the disk right next to the rim edge (see fig. W).

4)

Rotate the chuck and at the same time press on the bead

to loosen it, following the rim until the first bead is completely
loosened. (Note: Lubricate during the process!). WARNING!
In  the  case  of  tyres  with  inner  tubes,  the  process  must  be
done  very  carefully  to  immediately  interrupt  the  pushing  by
the  disk  as  soon  as  the  bead  is  detached  so  that  the  valve
and tube are not damaged.

5)

Repeat the process, but move the disk against the split ring

(cf. Fig. z), to free the locking ring, which is  then pulled out
with the lever (20, fig. z) or the disk.

6)

 Remove the split ring.

7)

Move  the  tool  arm  (14,  fig.  D)  away  from  the  rim  edge.

Unlock the tool arm from its cone and lift the arm to the "out
of operation" position. Bring the tool arm to the rear  side  of
the wheel.

8)

Press  the  release  lever  (15,  fig.  D)  and  twist  the  tool  by

180° until it snaps into place automatically. Lower and re-lock
the arm into the working position.

9)

Rotate the chuck and move the disk forward at the same

time,  following  the  rim  profile  until  the  second  bead  is
completely loosened (Note: lubricate). Continue to press the
tyre by running the disk until about half of the bead is removed
from the rim (cf. Fig. k).

10)

Put the tool arm into the "out of operation" position.

Move the mobile control unit to working position B.

11)

Move  away  the  platform,  until  the  tyre  is  completely

detached from the rim. Pay attention to avoid any damage to
the valve.
