WARNING: If, despite the above, you are unable to get the tyre-changer to work correctly, or if
there are disturbances of any kind, do not use the machine, but immediately notify technical
support.
Moving the Machine
The changer is equipped with a bracket (1, fig. A), which serves to move the machine. Proceed as
follows:
1)
Lower the chuck (2, fig. a) completely.
2)
Close the clamping jaws (3, fig. a).
3)
Bring the sledge (4, fig. A) to its stop on the side of the chuck.
4)
Insert a hoisting cable/belt (minimum width 60 mm and long enough to attach to a lifting hook above
the tyre-changer) in the bracket.
5)
Secure both ends of the cable/belt together with an appropriate shackle.
Storage
If the machine is kept in stock or remains unused for an extended period of time (3-4 months), the
following is required:
1)
Close the clamping jaws of the chuck. Lower the chuck. Bring the tool arm to the working position
(lowered).
2)
Disconnect the machine from the electrical power supply.
3)
Grease the parts that could be damaged if unlubricated:
- the chuck
- the tool arm
’s sledge rail
-
the tool arm’s sledge base
- das the disc and hook.
Empty the containers, contain the liquids required for operation, and protect the whole machine from
dust by covering
it with a nylon cover.
When the machine is to be put into operation again later, the refill of tank with the appropriate
oil is required.
