NOTE
To swap channels in stereo mode, set the
Left
Pan/Balance Control
to the center, and the
Right
Pan/Separation Control
fully to the left. Only the
left fader and left gain control are active in the stereo
mode.
For two-channel operation:
1.
Set
Mode Switch 4
Down
to enable remote control. The
REMOTE
LED on the front panel lights.
2.
Set
Mode Switch 1
Up
for two-channel mode.
3.
Set
Mode Switches 2
and
3
as desired for your application (
Up
for local level control,
Down
for Unity).
4.
Adjust the remote controller’s
Left Fader
to adjust
L GAIN
—
from silent to full level. Adjust the
Right Fader
to adjust
R
GAIN
— from silent to full level.
5.
Adjust the controller’s
Left Pan/Balance Control
to pan the
left channel — from fully left, to centered, to fully right.
6.
Adjust the controller’s
Right Pan/Separation Control
to pan
the right channel — from fully left, to centered, to fully right.
NOTE
•
To accomplish a crossfade between sources,
connect two (or more) DFADE-2 units in
conjunction with a DMIX-41 module. Refer to
the “
DFADE-2 Interconnection
” section for an
illustration.
•
To swap channels in two-channel mode, set the
Left Pan/Balance Control
fully to the right,
and the
Right Pan/Separation Control
fully to
the left. Both faders and both gain controls are
active.
