Note that processing accuracy may be set using an internal jumper. The
factory default (20-bit processing) is recommended unless you are
certain that the AES input auxiliary data bits contain the 4 LSBs of a 24-
bit audio signal.
•
In 20-bit mode, auxiliary data is passed (unprocessed) from
input to output.
•
In 24-bit mode, auxiliary data is treated as part of the input
audio signal.
Refer to the “
DFADE-2 Internal Jumpers
” section for information on
changing the processing accuracy.
NOTE
The DFADE-2’s output sampling frequency always
matches the input frequency (e.g., if 48 kHz comes in,
48 kHz goes out).
