Setting Electrical Control Panel Controls

ment damage.
Verify the temperature of the material being pumped,
then set the temperature control set points and alarms
for the following parts of the supply unit:

Dispense Gun 2
For more information about using the temperature con-
trollers, refer to the temperature controller instructions
included in the electrical control panel documentation.
Before you begin this procedure, make sure that the
supply unit has been properly grounded, checked for
resistance, and safely connected to a power source.
Temperature Controller Internal Switch Factory
Settings
Each temperature controller has internal switches to
control some of its operational characteristics. The
switches are only accessible if you remove the control-
ler from the electrical control panel. The factory set-
tings should satisfy most application needs.
For information about changing the settings, see the
temperature controller instruction sheet, included in the
electrical control panel documentation.
The factory settings are (Fig. 5):

Setting Set Point Temperatures
To set temperature set points for the supply unit
(Fig. 6):

Start with the temperature control in display mode.

Press the change mode key (4) once. The mode
indicator (3) changes to SET.

Using the down (5) and up (6) arrow keys, set the
desired set point temperature.

When you have set the desired temperature, push
the mode key (4) again. The mode changes to set
alarm mode.
5.
To set the alarm, go to the next section, Setting
Alarm Temperatures. If you have finished setting
the temperature control, push the change mode
key (4) again. This returns you to the display
mode.
