9. Tighten the Vehicle Seat Belt

The seat can continue to be tightened while the shoulder belt is 

in the lockoff. Press down firmly in the center of the car seat. 

Pull on the shoulder belt to tighten while feeding the slack back 

in the retractor.

10. Attach Top Tether Strap

Extend the top tether by lifting up on 

the tether lock and attach. 
Consult vehicle’s owner manual for 

specific location. 

11. Tighten Top Tether Strap

Remove all the slack.
