Place the

new tension spring

on the side of the bobbin case with the

tabs

going in the slots

near the hinge for the lever.

Insert the

large bobbin case screw

into the second hole and tighten loosely in place.

See “Loading the Bobbin Case” in the user manual for instructions on adjusting the spring

tension.

Use the small flat-head screwdriver to attach the spring to the bobbin case with the

small

bobbin case screw

in the screw hole at the end of the spring.
