Operating Instructions
1)
Make sure field wiring is completed in accordance with Field Connection drawings supplied with
the equipment. Install the barrier arm, and apply power

Turn the power switch on which is located on the lower left side of the gate

The first test with the gate is using the Auto / Manual switch to raise the arm till it stops and
then lower the arm till it stops. This process teaches the PLC that it is now in the down position
and is ready to operate.
4)
Use the Auto / Manual switch to raise or lower the gate located to the side of the PLC board
nearest the door opening.
5)
Observe the barrier arm position in up and down positions and adjust limit cams if necessary.
Limit cams are factory set

The Auto / Manual switch must be in Auto mode for the barrier to properly function. The toggle
arm must be pointing downwards for the automatic mode.
7)
The power disconnect switch is located on the bottom right hand side of the barrier gate and
comes with a receptacle provided for service use, 5 amp max
8)
When the outside temperature falls below 10 C or 50 F place the heater thermostat on by
adjusting the dial. The dial is factory set to the white dot between 50 and 68 Farenheit.
