 GENERAL INFORMATION

Which discs can I use for recording?
With this DVD recorder, you can record on two types of DVD:

DVD+RW

This disc can be recorded and erased multiple times

DVD+R

This type of disc can only be recorded until the disc is full or you finalize the disc.  After that, it is not possible to make

further recordings using this disc.
Before you start recording, be sure there is one of these discs in tray.

RECORDING  SETUP

From the setup menu choose Setup Menu/Recording Setup to set up the recording quality and autochaptering    periods.

Recording qualities that may be choosen are: BASIC, MEDIUM, HIGH, BEST. Auto Chapter durations are 4,10,20,30

min, it can be deactivated also by choosing OFF.
The setting will be kept even the device is unplugged. If you do not want to change settings before recording, you don’t

need to enter this menu.

SELECTING  SOURCE

There are four video input source modes. These are Scart CVBS in, Composite video in, S-Video In, FreeView  In these

sources are reached  via VIDEO SOURCE button.. Please checkout your setup before starting a record process and

assemble the correct configurations for starting record process.
When the unit is turned on, the recorder switches to monitor mode and the latest program that has been watched before

turning the unit off will be active.
If the unit is switched on due to a timer recording event, unit will tune to the programmed channel.

 HOW TO INITIATE AND STOP RECORDING PROCESS?

If you want to change recording quality, you can use REC MODE button on remote control. Each press will change

recording quality. Now you are ready to record. Then press record key on your remote control or record button from the

front panel of device. Recording process will start. Once display key is presed while recording, time info will disappear.

In order to display record  time info press display key again.To stop the recording process, press the stop button. After

finishing your recording process, the system will remain in  monitor mode. This title menu includes all of the recordings

on your disc in 

thumbnail form

.

In the thumbnail menu, the first frame of each recording will be displayed in small pictures.
If you press display button on any of these recordings, a menu for editing the title will be displayed.
