SURF FOIL
The practice of Surf foil and SUP foil is subject to the same rules as Surfing. Scrupulously respect the rules of
priority and observe the water carefully! Do not jump in if someone steals the right of way, the consequences
could be dramatic!
Keep a safe distance!
Avoid too powerful and too hollow wave conditions, including big white water. KEEP CLEAR of the shorebreak.
Equip your Board with a solid Leash to prevent it from continuing to slide when you fall.
Do not get in or out of the water with the Foil facing you. Always keep the Board between you and the Foil.
KITE FOIL
Respect the rules of navigation and priority.
Kitesurfing and Kite foil are similar to a sailing ship. As such, Kitesurfers must strictly apply the International
Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (RIPAM) for the articles that concern them. They are not optional.
You will be held responsible in the event of an accident in disregard of these rules.
Never practice Kite foil in offshore wind, stormy weather, in threatening or changing conditions.
Be careful, in case of a fall, it is possible that the Foil could get caught in your lines. Cast off urgently if this
happens.
Do not Kite foil with a Board Leash.
Note that a Carbon Foil tends to float. With no pressure from you, the Board/Foil assembly can remain on its
side, with the tips of the Foil wings out of the water. In case of a jump or a fall, be careful not to fall back on
the Foil.
Avoid wave conditions that are too powerful and too hollow, including large foam. Keep clear of the shorebreak.
Do not enter or leave the water with the Foil towards you. Always keep the Board between you and the Foil.
In case of panic when you get out of the water with your Board and Kite, let go of your Board and let it drift to
the beach.
WING FOIL
Equip your Board with a solid Leash to prevent it from continuing to glide when you fall.
In case of a Foil fall, do not fall on the Foil and do not let your Wing fall on it. A Stab, or a Front Wing will inevitably
pierce your Wing.
Do not let your Board equipped with a Foil or Fins pass over your Wing. Failure to do so will certainly result in
damage to the Wing.
Avoid wave conditions that are too powerful and too hollow, including large foam. Run away from the shorebreak.
Never practice Wing foiling in onshore wind, stormy weather, threatening or changing conditions.
Do not get in or out of the water with the Foil towards you. Always keep the Board between you and the Foil.
In case of panic when you get out of the water with your Board and Wing, detach your Board Leash, let go of
your Board, and let it drift to the sand.
