Observe the installation conditions of EN1648-1 or EN1648-2
.
•
Always connect the wire colour of the cable for the Eis-Ex regulator heating or the
transmitter for remote display (where available) with the same connection cable wire
colour!
•
The cables in the gas locker may not have any connection points. The Eis-Ex regulator
heating
and the transmitter connection cables for the remote display
(if present) must
not be extended using adapters. A length of less than 250mm (EN 1648-1) to the
interior
space
penetration is recommended.
•
Guide the connection between the 3-pin connector and the 3-pin socket for the Eis-Ex
regulator heating connection cable
and the transmitter connection cable
for remote
display (where available) out of the gas bottle locker!
•
In order to conduct the cables
out
of the gas locker, an appropriate opening should be
made to the
interior
. This cable bushing (e.
g. with interior rubber grommet) must be at
least 50cm above the floor of the gas locker. The opening to the interior space must then
be sealed gastight (e.g. with bodywork sealant).
•
If cables are laid through the gas locker, they must be protected against mechanical
damage. Laying within a continuous cable duct or a conduit fulfils this requirement.
Installation of the transmitter for remote display (where available)
Only in combination with the visual indicator of the automatic changeover valve
type AUV. The visual indicator shows the status of the gas cylinder(s) on the operating side.
•
Use the hexagon socket
on the transmitter
to unscrew and remove the hex nut
for the visual indicator
.
