SETTING UP
Assembly
1) Assemble the strap (1019) onto the sprayer (Figure 1).
2) Connect the hose (1172) to the bottom of the tank (1171) (Figure 2).
3) Tie the tube lance (1209) onto the handle (1179). Screw the handle onto the hose (Figure 2).
Verifi cation
1) Pay special attention to the hose connections (1172).
2) Infl ate the vacuum sprayer up to a 2 bar / 30 psi pressure.
3) The pressure must not drop lower than 0,5 bar / 8 psi in a 30 minute period.
4) Pull the red button on the safety valve (1167). The pressure must be released. (Figure 3)
5) Pull the handle (1179). It must open and close.
Preparation and spraying
1) Unscrew the chamber (1166) and place it on the side of the tank (Figure 4). To unscrew the chamber press the pump handhold downwards
and turn it counterclockwise (Figure 5).
2) Fill the tank up to the maximum level specifi ed for each model. Strongly screw the complete chamber (1166) in the tank.
3) Generate the desired pressure in the tank using strokes (Figure 6), the maximum pressure must not exceed 6 bar (the red stripe in the
pressure gauge (1168), if the maximum pressure is exceeded the safety valve (1167) releases the excessive pressure. To screw the
chamber press the pump handhold downwards and turn it clockwise.
4) If the fi lling connector is for compressed air (1169) connect the compressed air hose up to a maximum pressure of 6 bar (88 psi), then
remove the hose. Note that the pressure does not exceed 6 bar (Figure 7). To install the connector loosen the cap which is fastened in
the tank and tightly fasten the connector (Figure 8). Under no circumstances whatsoever remove the safety valve.
MAINTENANCE
1) After each use, depressurise the sprayer (Figure 3).
2) Collect and dispose of the residual amount in accordance with the laws, regulations and applicable standards.
3) Clean the sprayer with water.
4) In the event of obstruction of the nozzle (135/028), clean it with water and do not use metallic objects. (Figure 9)
5) To prolong the length of the life of the joints, regularly apply a few drops of oil or grease on the moving parts. (Figure 10)
6) Store the chamber and tank separately indoors protected from frost and fi erce heat ((40°F & 85°F) between 5ºC and 30ºC).
TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Pressure is not generated in the sprayer
The handle (1179) does not spray but there is
pressure
The liquid comes out of the top of the pump
The pump is not properly screwed in enough
Defective or dirty non-return valve (1018)
The handle fi lter is obstructed
Defective safety valve
Defective pressure gauge
Defective pump o-ring (1016)
Properly screw the pump
Replace the seal collar (Figure 11)
Clean or replace the non-return valve (Figure 12)
Loosen the fi lter holder and clean (Figure 13)
Replace the safety valve
Break the connection points of the window (top, right,
bottom), Turn the window and loosen the pressure
gauge using a wrench and change (Figure 14)
Replace the O-ring (Figure 11)
The safety valve (1167) excessively discharges
The pressure gauge (1168) does not indicate the
pressure in the tank
Defective seal collar (1017)
USES AND SECURITY REGULATIONS
1) Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and recommended doses on the packaging labels of the chemical product to be used.
2) In order to avoid any swallowing of the product, do not eat, drink or smoke during preparation and spraying process.
3) Do not spray on people, animals, electric installations, fl ames, open fi re or other sources of ignition.
4) Do not use the treatment when there is strong wind or extreme heat.
5) In case of poisoning, consult your physician/doctor, and taking the chemical product packaging with you.
6) Do not dump product or cleaning residues near water bodies, wells, etc.
7) Use suitable protective equipment, masks, goggles, gloves, footwear etc in order to avoid contact of the chemical products with skin, eyes
and mouth (Figure 13)
8) Read the sprayer instructions before use. Do not modify the sprayer. Do not obstruct or strike the safety valve (1167). Do not use the
sprayer if it is damaged, deformed or if its original shape has been altered. Store the sprayer indoors protected from frost and fi erce heat
(40ºF & 85º F) between 5º and 30ºC). If it is noted that the hose (1172), tank, handle (1179) or any of its connections are damaged do not
attempt to repair, replace with a new part.
9) Keep sprayer out of reach of children.
10) Use the sprayer only with substances which are compatible (Scope of Application).
11) The safety valve must not be bypassed (1167).
12) In the event that the sprayer material come into contact with hydrogen peroxide or products with a similar oxygen release, pressure may
produce pressure surges and result in an explosion. Never use these types of products.
13) Do not leave the sprayer under pressure or under the sun. Ensure that the sprayer does not overheat above the operating temperature.
