red on standard “SD cards which are used for memory storage.
- Slide the function switch to “CD (CD-MP3/ USB-MP3/ SD-MP3) position.
- To utilize this facility, first insert either a USB-rive or a SD-card into the correct slot.
- Press and hold (for 2 seconds) the “stop/ CD/ USB/ SD/ FM mode” key repeatedly to select
between:
- The display will show the “USB” or “SD” symbol & will check if any MP3 song files are found.
- If MP3 files are found, the set will start playback of the first MP3 song file & the display will
indicate the track number & ID3 Tag information just like a MP3-CD playback.
- Playback control (play, pause, back, next, stop) are also exactly same as with a MP3-CD
disc.
- You may also use the “mem. Set/ skip +10/ folder” key in the same manner as with MP3-CD
playback.
- You can also program the playback of upto 60 MP3 tracks (songs) simply follow the same
procedure as described in the previous section: “programming the CD-player”.
Important:
Removal of USB drives & SD-cards
Never remove (or unplug) USB-drives or SD-cards from the set During playback of MP3 songs
from these media. Always press
first and then slide the function switch to another source
(eg. “Radio” or “tape”) before removing or unplugging USB/SD memory, to prevent damage to
your song files or memory devices.
