How to play MP3 discs
- Insert a MP3 CD disc, close the door.
- Slide the function switch to CD (MP3/ USB/ SD) position.
- The disk will spin and perform a full check of the disc to count the total number of songs.
Then playback of the first song (track) will begin automatically and the display will indicate
the current track no: (01).
- If your disc has “folders” (see below) the display will show the
Folder number (eg. F01, F02, etc..) Momentarily.
- If the MP3-files has “ID3 Tag” information embedded within it, this text information will scroll
across the display after 5 seconds (see “text mode display” for more details about this functi

- At any time during playback, press and release
or
. To skip backwards or forwards by
one track.
- MP3 discs often have “folder” (sub-directories) which contain groups of songs.
- If your MP3-CD has no folders, you can use the
. Button to jump 10 songs
ahead. This is useful if you have many songs on you want to quickly jump to a particular
song.
- Press
several times until you reach a song number

- The “skip +10” function can also be used even if your disc has “folders” but for more conveni

Folders on MP3-CD discs
- MP3 files (songs) can be organized into “folders” when you record (burn) them on to a CD-
R disc. You can (for example) (for example) organize your folders on a disc so that each
folder contains songs by a particular artist, or alternatively, by a different genre or type. You
can organize songs & folders in any way you wish so that you can locate & play back those
songs with greater ease & convenience.
- To select a specific folder on a MP3-CD data disc, during playback of any track, pressing and
hold the
, button, Until the “folder” symbol is flashing on the display, then
select the desired folder by pressing “next/ tune-up” or “back/ tune-down” keys.
- Each time a different folder is selected the set will immediately start playing the first song in
the next folder, and the display will show the track number of that song.
- If the set is in “stop” mode (no song is currently playing), and you press
,the display will show “f01” (the first folder), You can select the desired folder by pressing
“next/ tune-up” or “Back/ tune-down” key, and then pressing “play/ pause” key to start play

back.
