Insert Tape
Insert a VHS tape in Deck 1.
Note: Commercial Advance only works in
Deck 1.
Position Tape
Fast Forward or Rewind the tape in Deck 1
to the point where you want to start
recording.
Begin Recording
Press Record, or set one of the following
recording options:
Basic Recording (see page 47)
Timer Recording (see page 55)
VCR Plus+ Recording (see page 63)
One Touch Recording (OTR see page 49)

End Recording
Press Stop on Deck 1.
The following confirmation screen appears.
This screen appears whether you stopped
the tape manually or if the preset recording
time has run out (e.g. Timer Recording,
VCR Plus+, OTR).
Note:
When you use Timer
Recording or VCR Plus+
recording to record two
adjacent shows on the same
channel, program each show
separately so that the
prologues and epilogues are
not automatically skipped.
