Index Search
Index Search will fast-forward
or rewind a specified number
of Index Marks from 1 to 99.
When it reaches the desired
Index Mark, it will play the
tape. Use Index Search when
you know the exact Index
Mark you want to locate.

Open “Search Menu”
From Stop or Play mode, press the Search/
Index button.
Select “Index Search/Scan”
Press 1.
Enter # of Marks to Search
Enter a number from 1 to 99; e.g. for “5”
press “0-5”.
Search for Index Marks
Press Fast-Forward or Rewind to begin
searching forward or backward for the
specified Index Mark. When the VCR
locates the Index Mark, it will play the tape.
