BioLas® 6 Start-up
Inserting
or changing the batteries (See “Product
Description”, →p.26)
Unscrew the battery-holder screw until the battery-
holder (9) can be removed from the housing. Insert
the batteries in the holder in accordance with the
correct polarity.
Push the battery-holder (9) back in the housing and
carefully and firmly screw on the battery-holder
screw(10).
Attention, only slightly tighten by hand
Replacing the batteries /Used batteries
If the control lamp (2) turns red, you must not
replace the batteries. However, you should keep
spare batteries. If the control lamp (2) is blinking
red and the
BioLas® 6
turns off, the batteries are
used and should be replaced.
Remove the used batteries and replace them with
four new 1.5 V alkaline manganese batteries, type
AAA.
Attention!
Use only branded batteries protected against leak-
age! “Cheap” batteries can leak and damage the
electronics!
If BioLas® 6 is not used for a long time, remove
the batteries from the battery-holder.
Change used batteries immediately and dispose of
them in an environmentally friendly way (See n
