Intended Use

Mains-powered portable pressure washer for general, medium duty cleaning tasks directing a jet of

pressurised cold water on to paths, patios, buildings, vehicles and other suitable surfaces.

Unpacking Your Tool

•  Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Familiarise yourself with all its features and functions.
•  Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or damaged,

have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool.

Before Use

WARNING: Always make sure high pressure connections are depressurised before disconnecting.
IMPORTANT: Do not connect the pressure washer to the water or electrical supply until fully assembled

and ready for use.

Assembly

1.  Remove all packaging materials from the product
2.  Remove the screw indicated in Image B and slide the Lance Bracket (1) over the mounting shown then

secure with the removed screw

3.  Fit the Brackets (14) on to the body of the pressure washer for storing the mains cable when not in use.

See Mains Cable Bracket (6 & 8) and images C & D for mounting positions

4.  Connect Lance Connector (21) into Lance Handle Connector (15)  by pulling down on the outer body of

the quick connector socket and inserting quick connector plug as shown in image F

Note: Accessories including brushes, patio cleaners etc fit to the Lance Handle Connector (15).

High pressure hose

1.  Carefully cut and remove cable ties around  the High Pressure Hose (11) and unwind, taking care not to

damage the hose surface

2.  Attach a High Pressure Hose Connector (12) to the Quick Connector Adapter (24) as shown in image E.

Screw the fittings together until tight

3.  Connect the Quick Connector Adapter to the High Pressure Hose Lance Quick Connector (18) as shown

in image F

Fitting the turbo nozzle

The Turbo Nozzle (25) creates a powerful spray in a circular pattern for very effective cleaning over larger

areas.
1.  Remove the standard lance section by disconnecting Lance Connector (21) from Lance Handle

Connector (15)

2.  Fit the Turbo Nozzle to the Lance Handle Connector (15)
WARNING: If the high pressure hose sustains damage, it can burst and cause injury.  A damaged hose

must be replaced, not repaired. Inspect regularly and prevent the hose coming into contact with sharp

objects or rough surfaces.
Note: After use and depressurising, disassemble the lance and store in the Lance Bracket (1)
Note: Move the pressure washer using the Extending Handle (9) and built-in wheels. Do not lift the pressure

washer with the Extending Handle.

Connecting to water supply

WARNING: When connecting a pressure washer to a normal house water supply it is important a non-

return valve is fitted to the hose (also called a backflow preventer) to ensure the pressure washer cannot

contaminate your water supply if there is a backflow.
1.  Remove the plastic cap from the Water Inlet Connector (5)
2.  Check the filter inside the water inlet connector is clear of debris or any other material (Image A). Over

time debris may build up and the filter will need to be checked regularly and any debris build-up removed

3.  Fit the Quick Connector (13) to the Water Inlet Connector (24) and tighten by hand only
4.  Connect a hose from the water supply to the fitted quick connector
Notes:
•  The specification lists suitable water inlet pressures.  A normal UK household water supply can range

from 1-8 Bar pressure but 2-5 Bar is more typical.  Do not exceed the maximum water pressure stated

in the specification

•  If you do not know, or are unable to measure, the water pressure, keep the pressure low to prevent

damage to the pressure washer. Aim to set the pressure at mid-point between the lowest and highest

pressure accepted by the pressure washer. If preferred, a third party water pressure gauge is available

that connects directly to the tap. This will allow the water pressure to be set more accurately

•  Do not connect to a hot or warm water supply. This will prevent the pump from  cooling and may damage

the seals over time

•  It is important that a good water connection is maintained while operating a pressure washer, as the

pump will be damaged if run without water.  Make sure the connections are secure before switching on

the pressure washer

•  Always check all parts and attachments are secure, and that hoses are not kinked or obstructed

Connecting to other water sources

Note: These instructions assume the pressure washer has already be assembled as per ‘Connecting to a

water supply’.
Note:  A backflow preventer (also called a non-return valve) is not required when connecting to other water

sources.
The pump featured in this pressure washer features a self-priming feature that allows use of other water

sources typically a water butt or other container of captured rain water or similar.
•  Ensure the water supply is clean and filtered before entering the pressure washer. Ensure there is no

sediment

•  The maximum pumping height is 0.5m (the distance from the height of the surface on which the pressure

washer is resting, to the top surface of the water below where the hose enters)

•  For water butts where the output is at the bottom gravity will provide some pressure to assist the

pressure washer

•  The hose to the water supply should not exceed 3m in length and the diameter should not be less than

19mm or ¾”

1.  Disconnect the High Pressure Hose (11) from the High Pressure Hose Connector (10)
2.  Connect a hose to your water source
3.  Connect the hose to the Quick Connector (13) that is fitted to the Water Inlet Connector (5)
4.  Press the On/Off Switch (3) to switch on the pressure washer
5.  Wait until the water can be seen coming out of the High Pressure Hose Connector (10)
6.  Re-attach the High Pressure Hose to the High Pressure Hose Connector
Note: Always ensure the Quick Connector (13) is used when using the self-priming feature.
