Detach the siphon

Clean the lower section of the siphon with clean water.
3.
Disconnect the condensate line

4.
Refit the unit and make sure that the seals are fitted
correctly.
5.
Fill the lower section of the siphon with water.

Distance between the edge of the condensate si-
phon and the water: 10 mm
6.
Screw in the siphon tightly.

9.11.1 Checking the ignition and flame control

Disconnect the connection

and the earthing cable

Remove the fixing screws

4.
Carefully remove the electrode from the combustion
chamber.
5.
Check whether the ends of the electrodes

are free
from damage.
6.
Clean and check the gap between the electrodes.

Distance between the ignition and flame control
electrodes: 3.5 … 4.5 mm
7.
Make sure that the seal

is free from damage.

If necessary, replace the seal.

Note
The gas-air mixture unit consists of three main
components:

Ventilator

Gas valve,

Burner door

Remove the gas spigots

Loosen the nuts

4.
Remove the burner unit from the boiler casing

5.
Check whether the bolts on the boiler casing are free
from damage.

Replace the boiler casing if necessary.

Check whether the insulation on the burner valve is free
from damage.
