Now weigh the airplane, using three scales, one under each wheel. The
scales should each be capable of handling more than 600 lb. For this
measurement, the fuel tanks should be empty, but the engine should be
full of oil. While weighing the airplane, block up the wheels as
necessary to bring the waterline and the wings level. Be sure to
subtract the tare weight of any blocks or wheel chocks used from the
scale readings.
NOTE
You need to record the weights registered by each scale
individually, not just the total weight.
