9.4. CAL INT
If the balance is equipped with the internal calibration mass the message “CAL INT” appears as a choice of
the main menu and the internal automatic calibration is available.
Once this function is activated, the automatic calibration process begins.
The display shows “CAL AUTO” during the calibration process while the functions of reference and zero
weight acquisition are performed automatically by the balance.
During the calibration the process is monitored for proper execution.
At the end of the cycle the message “CALIBRATED” or “CAL ERROR” appear as a result of the calibration
process as above.
9.2.5.1. STORE
current settings are stored as user default
9.2.5.2. END
user default setting is left unchanged
9.5. TIMED AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION
If the balance is equipped with the internal calibration mass, the timed calibration periodically starts an
internal automatic calibration.
In order to operate, 3 hours must be elapsed from the last calibration, the balance must be inactive for at
least 10 minute before the calibration time, no serial command was send to the balance.
The display shows “CAL AUTO” during the calibration process while the functions of reference and zero
weight are performed automatically by the balance.
At the end of the cycle the message “ CALIBRATED ” or “CAL ERROR” appear as a result of the calibration
process as above.
In this way the operator is able to determine the status of the last timed calibration.
To restore the normal operation the key TARE must be activated.
10. QUICK RESTORE OF DEFAULT PARAMETERS
If configuration parameters are modified, so that a wrong setup is stored, a quick restore function of the
factory parameters is available.
Remove the power supply plug from the rear of the balance
Press and hold pressed the ON/OFF key
Reinsert the power supply plug
Wait until the display shows “Crystal”
Release the ON/OFF key
The display will show “SET FACTORY”
Factory default parameters are restored
Note:
When the balance configuration was modified and its operation is correct, the use of the SET DEF command
of the setup menu will permanently store the new configuration parameters in memory so that they are not
lost on power down.
