6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Wait for about 3 hours after power-up before performing any high accuracy weighing operation.
It is advisable to leave the balance permanently on (connected to the AC line).
It is possible to switch off only the display with the ON/OFF key, this allows a quick recovery when the
balance is switched on.
Crystal balances have ranges with capacity of 110 g, 210 g, 310 g, 510 g with up to 0.1 mg resolution.
Pressing the ON/OFF key, after the display test, the indication 0,0000 g. appears.
If the instrument has not been used for more than an hour, perform a weighing operation with at least 10 g
before high precision measurements.
7. KEYBOARD OPERATION
The keyboard has four control keys: PRINT, MODE, TARE, ON-OFF.
Every key has a specific function, while keys MODE, TARE and ON-OFF also acivate a second function.
If the keys are activated for less than 1 second the first function is activated, when pressed for more the
second function will be active.

8. TARE
After a container is placed on the pan, push the TARE key to zero the reading.
The balance has a tare capacity up to its total measuring range.
Place the sample to be weighed in the container.
The display shows the sample net weight.
It is possible to use the tare key again and again after adding several samples, up to the maximum capacity
of the balance, indicated by a bargraph on the left side of the LCD display.
