12 – INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE
CHECKING OPERATIONS MUST BE EXECUTED BY EXPERT PERSONNEL. THE MACHINE
MUST BE PLACED ON A LEVELLED GROUND WITH PARKING BRAKE INSERTED. THE ENGINE
MUST BE STOPPED AND THE KEY MUST BE REMOVED. ALL THE SECURITY DEVICE (WHERE
IT IS NOT PRECISELY SPECIFIED) MUST BE ACTIVE.
The inobservance of the essential standard security and the aware operator, decline the Gianni Ferrari from each
responsibility.
GENERAL CLEANING
A GOOD AND CONSTANT CLEANING OF THE MACHINE ASSURE IT BETTER USE AND
GRATER LENGHT OF TIME.
The machine is equipped with hydraulic pumps and other mechanical parts that if not adequately clearing could be
detain dirt residual that are noxious for the machine. For general cleaning of the Turboloader is recommended to use
compressed air. Avoid use of pressurized jets of water, steam, naphta, petrol, solvent and similar. These products will
damage many components, particularly the transmission belts and the electric wiring.
WHEELS
Preserve a correct pressure of tires ensures a longer life of it, and in the meantime a better security during the
normal working operations.
The recommended pressure are written in the special labels (see the chapter 4.2).
Standard tires 23x8.50-12 / 26x12.00-12
Garden tires 23x8.50-12 / 26x12.00-12 on request
Tractor tires 23x8.50-12 / 26x12.00-12
Replacement of wheels:
Stop the machine on a flat and steady area and take out the starting key.
Insert in a correct way the articulation joint block.
Insert the parking brake.
Unloose the screws of the wheels to be replaced
Place a suitable lifting mean (having in mind the weight of the unit) on the
position shown on the picture (picture Nr° 1 frontal wheel, picture Nr° 2 rear
wheel).
Remove the screws and replace the wheel.
To reinstall the wheel proceed in the opposite way.
Tightening torque of the front and rear screws M14x1.5-10.9 can be 200Nm.
Only for the replacement of the frontal wheels, we can use the telescopic arm for lift the machine as shown the
picture. This operations can be done alone if the safety conditions permit it
