11 – STARTING AND USING THE MACHINE
CHEK THAT THE SECURITY DEVICES NOT HAVE BEEN EXCLUDED OR DAMAGED
Before to starting the engine regulate the seat (see Chapter 10).
TO START THE ENGINE:
Set the battery-saver cut off switch in position “ON” (turn clockwise). At the end of job it is advisable to
put it back in position “OFF” (turn counter clockwise). Using also this switch during the transport phases.
The battery-saver switch is positioned like showed the picture 1 (S-M series) e picture 2 (H serie) .
Verify that the pedals for forward and revers are in neutral position.
Check that the buttons for starting the frontal hydraulic plug are in OFF position.
Verify that the second pump is not engaged
Sit on the seat.
Bring the accelerator lever 5 to about 1/4 of its travel and start the engine by turning the key to starting
position. If outside temperature is less than 10°C, leave the starter switch in “preheating” position for about
7 seconds, then turn it to "start". For a more correct procedure, operators are advised to strictly comply with
the instructions given in the engine Operator’s Manual.
IN TERM OF EMERGENCY FOR STOP ALL MOVEMENTS TURN THE KEY IN COUNTERCLOCKWISE.
TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE:
Turn the starting key in OFF position (counterclockwise).
Disconnect the buttery-saver.
AT THE END OF ANY WORK TURN OFF THE ENGINE,PULL THE HANDLE BRAKE AND BEFORE
TO PARKING THE MACHINE IN A CLOSED PLACE, WAIT ITS COOLING.
