Anode rod
Plug for anode rod
Guidelines for replacing the anode
(magnesium) rod:
1. Turn off the power and the water inlet
valve.
2. Turn on the hot water valve or faucet,
so as to decrease the pressure of inner
tank.
3. Open the water outlet; drain out the
water until there is no water flow out.
4. Follow the instruction of the left figure,
remove the anode rod with a socket or a
wrench.
5. Replace the new anode rod: new
anode rod threads need to be coated
with screw sealant compatible for use on
sanitary and heating system. Place the
groove of plug with the original sealing
gasket or new specification one. Finally,
assemble anode rod.
6. When finishing the installation, heat
the water to
53
℃
, check whether there is
leakage around the installation position of
anode rod during the process.

valve
●
The pressure relief handle of safety
valve should be pulled once every six
months to remove the deposit calcium
and confirm the device is not clogged. Its
outlet water temperature may be high, so
be careful to avoid scolding.
●
The water may drip from the drainage
outlet of the device and that the drainage
hose must stay open to the atmosphere.
●
In case of that drainage hose freezes
in winter, which causes accident, please
handle the drainage hose with insulation
protection.
