  3.4 

MAIN COMPONENTS

The machine is composed of a series 

of main components that have the 

following functions (fig.1 ):

A.  Motor: supplies the drive power 

to the cutting means.

B.  Blade (cutting means): the element 

designed to cut the vegetation.

C.  Front handgrip: used to handle the machine 

and equipped with the safety switch.

D.  Rear handgrip: used to handle the machine 

and equipped with the main control buttons.

E.  Blade protection (for machine 

transport and handling): protects against 

accidental contact with the cutting 

means that can cause serious injuries. 

F. 

Battery

 (if it is not supplied with the machine, 

see chapter 15 “Attachments on request”): 

device that supplies electric current to the 

tool; its specifications and regulations for 

use are described in a specific manual.

G. 

Battery charger

 (if it is not supplied with 

the machine, see chapter 15 “Attachments 

on request”): device used to recharge the 

battery; its specifications and directions for 

use are described in a specific manual.

UNPACKING

 IMPORTANT 

  The safety regulations 

to follow are described in chap. 2. Strictly 

comply with these indications to avoid 

serious risks or dangers.

 

Unpacking should be done on a flat 

and stable surface, with enough space 

for machine handling and its packaging, 

always making use of suitable equipment. 

1.  Carefully open the packaging, paying 

attention not to lose components.

2. 

Consult the documentation in the 

box, including these instructions.

3.  Remove the machine from the box.

4. 

Dispose of the box and packaging in 

compliance with local regulations.

5.  CONTROLS

 5.1  BLADE CONTROL LEVER 

(CUTTING MEANS)

The blade control lever (Fig. 3.A) 

lets you start the blade.

The cutting means (Fig. 1.B) can only be started 

by simultaneously pressing the blade control 

lever (Fig. 3.A), the blade control lock button 

(Fig. 3.B) and the safety switch (Fig. 3.C). 

The cutting means stops automatically 

when the lever is released.

  5.2 

BLADE CONTROL LOCK BUTTON

The blade control lock button (Fig. 3.B) lets 

you press the blade control lever (Fig. 3.A).

 5.3 

SAFETY SWITCH 

The safety switch located on the front 

handgrip (Fig. 3.C) provides additional safety 

since it must be held down with the blade 

control lever to start the cutting means.

The cutting means stops automatically 

when the safety switch is released.

  5.4  REAR HANDGRIP RELEASE LEVER

The release lever (Fig. 3.D) is used to adjust 

the rear handgrip (Fig. 1.D) to 3 different 

positions in relation to the cutting means 

to make trimming your hedges easier.

  The handgrip must only be adjusted 

when the machine is switched off. Never 

keep your finger on the safety switch to 

avoid accidentally enabling the machine.
