When completely drained, push the On/Off/Drain swit
ch to the “Off” position.

Turn OFF the disconnect switch to all remote electric facility power to the unit with the
external disconnect.
DANGER:
The inside of the humidifier’s cabinet contains high voltage
components and wiring. Access should be limited to authorized personnel.
Arc flash and electric shock hazard. Risk of electrical shock could result in
injury or death. Disconnect local and remote facility power source before
working within this equipment.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment per NFPA 70E before
working within unit.
Use voltmeter to make sure facility electrical power is turned OFF before
making any electrical connections. Failure to comply can cause injury or
death.

9.7.
Coil Drain Pan
•
To ensure proper drainage, inspect the drain pan regularly.
•
Make sure the drain pan outlet is always free of debris and ensure the drain pan does not
leak.
•
Check and clean P-trap, as needed for proper operation and leaks.
•
Clean out drain pan as needed.
9.8.
Condensate Pump
•
The condensate pump should be inspected semiannually and cleaned.
•
Wipe the float with a wet cloth and detergent to remove dirt.
•
Clean the tank bottom.
•
Remove sump and clean with a stiff nylon brush and flush with water.
•
Check that the discharge line is clear, and water can pass through it freely.
•
Check and clear obstructions in gravity lines leading to condensate pump.
•
Check operation of float(s) (i.e., free movement).
•
Inspect and clear clogs in discharge check valve and float mechanism.
•
Reassemble and check for leaks.
