low humidity, current percent of capacity and average percent of capacity for chilled water valve,
compressor, reheat, humidification, dehumidification, component runtimes for fan motor(s),
reheat, humidification, and dehumidification (if applicable).
See the separate dap4 User Manual for detailed parameter settings and operating instructions.
3.10. Disconnect switch (Optional)
A thru-door locking disconnect switch is an optional feature which includes a non-automatic
disconnect switch mounted in the high voltage section of the electrical control box. The operating
mechanism prevents access to the high voltage electrical components until switched to the
"OFF" position. The operating mechanism protrudes through the exterior door and is lockable
in the OFF position.
NOTE:
The disconnect switch extension shaft and locking handle are
shipped loose to prevent damage during transit and installation. It is the
contactors responsibility to install these components as part of the
installation process.
3.11. How to Open the Electrical Enclosure Panel
•
Disconnect all remote electric facility power before servicing unit.
•
Turn OFF the disconnect switches, if equipped.
•
Open the cabinet outer door in front of the electrical enclosure.
•
Pushing down on both spring latches on electrical enclosure panel.
•
Open electrical control panel.
•
CAUTION:
Verify all power is OFF using a voltmeter.
3.12. Condensate Pumps (Optional)
If a gravity drain is not available, a condensate pump is an optional item. Condensate pumps
may be unit mounted or ship loose for field assembly and wiring. Factory mounted pumps are
pre-wired. While no outside power source is required, field piping is still a requirement. If the
condensate pumps are shipped loose, a separate source of power is normally required.
Condensate pumps are available in various voltages, therefore, always check the pump power
requirements before connecting power.
WARNING:
For shipped loose and field installed condensate pumps, a
separate power source must be supplied to avoid any flooding problems.
Wire the pump to shut the system off in case of overflow or pump failure.
WARNING:
The condensate drain MUST be connected to an external
drain line (provided by others) before unit start up. Without field piping
condensate water will damage internal components.
