5  Electrical installation

The following describes how to connect the door control to the 
door drive unit and the power grid, and how to attach external 
devices. Follow local installation regulations during the entire 
electrical installation.

Danger to life due to electric shock!

 

Improper installation may result in death or severe injury from 
electrical current. 

 

▪

Let only trained electricians carry out the steps described in 
chapter 5 and only trained electricians or door installation 
technicians carry out further electrical installations.

 

▪ Shut off the voltage to all cables. 

Damage to components caused by penetrating moisture!

The NEMA protection class must be maintained. All 
penetrations from the top will void warranty.
