7.3 Connection
Carrying out electrical connection

Carry out connection to the 24V supply voltage in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-600.

Only connect the 24V system to a power supply with safety low voltage SELV.

Heed the specifications on the wiring diagram (see chapter 18.1 “Drive wiring diagram”).

Execute the cable type, line length and line cross-section in accordance with the technical specifications.

Always use wire-end ferrules for wire cores.

Insulate wires that are not used.
X
An on-site, 2-pole circuit breaker with locking option is to be used as a line-side disconnecting device, in
accordance with the permissible cable current load.

7.3.1 Connect the connecting cable of the drip loop
Prepare the cable of the drip loop

Combine each 2 wires (2 colours) of the total of 6 wires of the drip loop at both ends of the cable with one of
the enclosed twin wire end sleeves.

Make sure to use the
same wire colours
at both ends of the cable.

Connecting the connecting cable

Connect the resulting 3 double wires of
the drip loop (1) to the cable clamp (2) at
the inputs A, B and L.

The clamp S remains unoccupied.

Unscrew screw (1) of the cover cap.

Remove the cover cap (2).
