Installation
You will find information on installation in the installation instructions F 1200+ (ID 193236).
DANGER!
Risk of injury due to incorrect installation!
X
Follow safety instructions.
X
Follow the installation instructions provided.
X
Check dimensional specifications at the construction site at your own responsibility.
X
Check whether the conditions specified on the information plate of the drive (e.g. ambient temperature and
electrical data) can be met at the planned installation site.
X
Before installation check whether the driven part is in a good mechanical state, has a balanced weight and can
be closed easily.
X
In order to avoid injuries place protective caps onto projecting threads of the fixing screws.
X
Make sure that enclosing between the window leaf and the surrounding fixed parts due to the opening move-
ment of the window leaf is prevented.

Electrical connection
7.1 Planning and calculation
X
Have planning and calculation of the supply network done by an expert installer and in accordance with the
legal regulations.
X
Carry out and log insulation measurement of the supply network for the window unit.
With 24 V DC and long supply cable
X
Use a cable with a sufficiently large cross-section to avoid voltage drop.
X
Calculate maximum voltage drop along the supply cable from the power supply to the drive in such a way
that the voltage does not fall short of the 24V supply voltage of the drive (see chapter 17 “Technical data”).
7.2 Drip loop
The F 1200+ drive has been designed for installation on the
leaf. A drip loop is necessary for transferring the current
from the frame to the leaf.
X
Use enclosed GEZE drip loop.
Installing the drip loop
X
Attach the drip loop in such a way that tilt and turn
movement of the leaf is possible.
X
Route the drive cable on the leaf through the glass strip.
