RAIN ALARM MANAGEMENT
This function means that the KNX/EIB bus periodically receives:
• the “rain alarm” signal when the connected rain sensor closes the contact due to
rainfall detection.
• the “no rain alarm” signal when the rain sensor does not close the contact.
The rain alarm can be used, for instance, to automatically close motorised skylights
(connected to a KNX/EIB actutator) when it starts to rain and reopen them again when it
stops. An eventual status indicator LED is always OFF.
SEND PRIORITY CONTROLS
Connecting a switch to the input, makes it possible to override the status (fixed ON or OFF,
regulated at choice) of a KNX/EIB device whilst the contact is closed. This function can
be used, for instance to keep lights ON, ignoring other switch-off commands.
At the end of the override, if no other commands are received the commanded devices
return to their previous status before the override was activated. On the contrary the
status remains that of the last command received during override.
DIMMER MANAGEMENT
This allows you to manage the lighting fixtures connected to a KNX/EIB dimmer. Each
individual dimmer channel can be controlled using two inputs and two distinct buttons
or one input and one single button. The eventual indicator LED connected to the input is
ON when the corresponding dimmer channel is ON.
Two button mode:
• long closure of the contact (> 0.5 s) : Regulation of the light intensity (higher or lower
according to the button setting);
• short closure of the contact (> 0.5 s) : Complete ON or OFF option (according to the
button setting).
One button mode:
• long closure of the contact (> 0.5 s) : Regulation of the light intensity (in the opposite
direction to the last performed command);
• short closure of the contact (> 0.5 s) : Total ON or OFF option, respectively according
to whether the dimmer channel is ON or OFF.
