SOUND COMBINATION (SPLIT SOUND)
Your digital piano can be set to play two sounds with a split keyboard (e.g. left part with
a bass and right part with a piano sound).
1. Press the Split softbutton. Your keyboard is split into two zones now.
2. By using the cursor keys, select a sound for each zone (-> page 18).
3. Start playing. You will hear one sound for both zones each.
If you want to adjust the Split Mode, proceed as follows:
4. Press the Menu softbutton. Navigate through the following settings and
adjust them as desired by using the cursor keys:

Split Point:
Here you can define the point where the keyboard is
to be split.
Alternatively, you can define the Split Point by holding the
“K Sense“ softbutton while pressing the desired key on the
keyboard.

Balance:
Here you can change the volume ratio between the two
selected sounds.
•
L_Octave Shift:
With this function, you can transpose the sound
chosen for the left side of the split keyboard up or down by 1, 2 or
3 octaves.
•
L_Pedal:
Here you can decide whether the Damper Pedal should
sustain both sounds (On) or only the one selected for the right
zone of the keyboard (Off).
5. Use the Exit softbutton to leave the menu.
6. Press the Exit softbutton again to deactivate the Split Mode and to
return to the home menu.
