Serial port COM1 and COM2
At the COM1/COM2 port, there is a an RS-232 interface via 9-pin Sub-D sock-
ets RS-232.

The 9-pin COM plugs are assigned by default as follows:

Turning off the device
Turn off your G-ST in the following order :
1. Close all applications and click Start in the taskbar .
2. Select shut down computer and press OK .
The operating system will now shut down and all data will be stored .
3. Then fully switch off your device by pressing the on/off button or by disconnect-
ing it from the power supply .
