3. Insert the document or image face down into the scanner. Align the
paper to the arrow sign on the right of the scanner.
4. Press the SCAN button on the scanner. The scanning starts
immediately.
5. When the scan completes, the scanned image appears in the Presto!
PageManager program that opens, ready for you to perform other
image editing tasks.
6. If you have more documents or images to scan, repeat Step 2-5 until
you have scanned all.

The Custom button enables you to conveniently scan documents or images and
send them to the printer, convert images of text documents into text files that can be
edited within a word processor, or send them to a new e-mail message as attachment
files.

If you have more than one similar document or image to scan, follow the steps
below:
1. Click on the Smart Touch icon
located on the Windows system
tray. From the menu that pops up, point to [Custom Button Link] and
then click [Continuous Scan].
2. To change the linked scanning task, click on the Smart Touch icon
again, point to [Custom Button Link] from the menu that pops up, and
then click on [OCR], [Copy] or [E-mail] depending on your needs.
