Instructions for Use and Care
7
Cooking temperature
Use low and medium temperatu-
res for coated cookware on all ty-
pes of stoves to enable a gradual
and even heating of the cookware.
High temperatures should only
be used to heat up water or to
reduce sauces and broths. To sear
food switch to high temperatures
until the cookware is sufficiently
pre-heated. After the ingredients
have been added the temperature
can be lowered.
Kitchen aids
For coated cookware we recom-
mend using kitchen aids made of
wood, silicone or synthetics.
Do not use knives or sharp objects
to cut inside the cookware.
Do not use hand mixers, immersi-
on blenders or battery-run whisks
in the coated cookware.
Glas lid
Do not hold a hot glass lid into or
under cold water and do not place
these directly onto a cold surface.
Handles/ lid knobs
Always grab the cookware with
oven cloth/oven gloves during
and after cooking.
Sieve
You can use this sieve to easily
wash and rinse food. To pour the
water out after cooking or washing
just tip the pot. The sieve stays ho-
rizontal and the waterflows out.
Tip:
When you want to cook spa-
ghetti first put the sieve in the bot-
tom of the pot, fill 2/3 with water, co-
ver the pot with the lid, wait until
the water has boiled and then add
the spaghetti. Wait until the spa-
ghetti is completely submerged
in the water, lift the sieve, hang up
the pot and let the spaghetti cook.
Do not cover the pot with the lid:
Traditional Italian pasta is cooked
without a lid! When the spaghetti
is ready, grab the pot by the hand-
les, tip the pot upside down and
let the water drain out.
Care and cleaning
Let the cookware cool down for a
few minutes before cleaning. If the
cookware is hot, do not submerge
in cold water or fill with cold water.
When cleaning, only use the re-
commended cleaning wipes. Do
not use any metal, aggressive or
scratching towels and dish-was-
hing brushes or aggressive deter-
gents.
